A whisper of Prophecies. A Mytharian Teaser

Gather ’round, brave souls. Let me tell you a tale that begins not with a dramatic explosion but with something far more elusive: a whisper. Yes, a whisper. Though, to be honest, calling it a whisper might be a bit of a stretch. It was a whisper once, perhaps, but now it’s more of a legend wrapped in mystery, and isn’t that how all the best stories begin?

Granny Elara

It is not just any whisper, mind you. No, it’s got to be well-traveled. The kind of whisper that’s eavesdropped on empires rising and falling, stolen a few royal scandals, and maybe even overheard the odd conspiracy. This one’s been around the block a few times, gathering secrets like souvenirs, and it doesn’t settle for idle chitter chatter. It’s twisted its way into the ears of men (and probably a few squirrels) until it found itself in the hands, or rather unfortunately inside the head of Granny.

Now, I’d love to tell you that Granny Elara is your typical sweet, cookie-baking, knitting-obsessed old lady. The one who slips you a quick ten pounds when your parents aren’t looking. But let’s be honest, if I said that, I’d probably end up as a toad by morning. Lying about Granny isn’t something anyone does lightly. Trust me on this.

Granny Elara is the resident keeper of all things mysterious, terrifying, and very likely the reason the phrase “don’t mess with witches” exists. Her wit is sharp enough to slice through butter, and if you’re foolish enough to cross her, well… just ask the Fenrithors... They still haven’t recovered.

Determined to get her hair to turn a respectable witchy white like every good witches should. She’s tried everything short of cursing herself. But no, no, no… it stubbornly remains black… just like her attitude when someone tries to tell her what to do. So when those ancient whispers floated her way, she didn’t just listen. Oh no, she grabbed them, tied them up with a bow, shook them around like a maraca, and spun them into a prophecy. Because if anyone’s going to tangle with fate, it’s Granny Elara. And let’s face it, fate doesn’t stand a chance.

“When winter's icy hand descends and shadows stretch across the land, a mother and her kin shall rise. She, the heart of light, they, the fiery soul. Together, wisdom’s gleam, they face the ancient foe. To turn the tide of fate, and let their power flow.”

For the benefit of those who’ve spent more time untangling their earbuds than decoding the fate of the cosmos, let’s make this as painless as inputting an 18-character passcode… with two keys.

Winter’s icy hand descending, oh yes, that’s not just poetic fluff. It means when it’s cold enough for penguins to complain. The sun decides it’s on an extended vacation, a mother, who could probably warm up a glacier with her sheer determination, and her kids, who’ve got more fire in their bellies than a dragon on a hot day. Are so full of fiery spirit they could probably roast marshmallows just by glaring at them. Which might just help them survive long enough to blast past the icy tundra’s they find themselves in.

Together, they’re not just braving the chill for fun. No, no, they’re up against an ‘ancient foe’. Which feels suspiciously like the final boss in a particularly overdramatic game of Dungeons and Dragons, where the dice hate you.

Their mission? To flip the script on fate itself and let their power flow like a river… probably with some conveniently-timed implosions and a speech or two that Shakespeare would envy.

So, dear readers, if you’ve ever thought, “Oh, its cold outside, Let me just grab a hot chocolate. A book to curl up with.” or possibly “I wish I could experience a world where prophecies involve battling ancient evils while navigating a world that doesn’t play by the rules.” Then Mytharia might just be your new obsession. Stay tuned, because if you think your family’s holiday dinner is a battlefield, you haven’t tried untangling ancient prophecies with Granny in command. You’d probably prefer wrestling a dragon… at least the dragon won’t make you question your life choices.

Until next time, may your adventures be wild and your mysteries ever so slightly less terrifying.
